Trust often begins with a face-to-face conversation. To better understand the U.S. market and get closer to our customers, the Chipsen sales team traveled across the ocean to California for a special client visit. This cross-Pacific meeting not only opened the client's door, but also won their trust.
The United States is one of the world's largest markets for power equipment, with stringent technical and certification requirements (such as UL) for transformers and inductors. When choosing a supplier, U.S. clients weigh technical strength, quality systems and long-term service capability most heavily. Previously, our communication with this client had been mainly through emails and online meetings — their impression of Chipsen was still "on paper."
The client was planning local grid upgrades and new energy projects and needed transformers with stable performance that meet U.S. market standards. But with a supplier thousands of miles away, three questions lingered: How strong is Chipsen's technology? Can capacity and delivery be guaranteed? Can issues be responded to in time?
On the day of the visit, our sales and technical team came fully prepared. Centering on the client's specific project needs, we answered every question with detailed data, product catalogs and real application cases — from technical specifications and UL certification, to production capacity on automated lines and after-sales response mechanisms. We communicated openly and answered every question without hesitation. This face-to-face meeting showed the client our professionalism and sincerity.
By the end of the meeting, the client's attitude had visibly changed — from cautious evaluation to actively asking about cooperation details and next steps. On the spot, the client said: "You are the only supplier that flew all the way to the U.S. and understood our needs so thoroughly. We are willing to give Chipsen a try."
Shortly after the meeting, the client sent their first sample testing request, officially kicking off our cooperation. This single meeting earned Chipsen another trusting client in the U.S. market.
One long journey, one meeting, one trust. Chipsen firmly believes that sincerity is the best sales, and professionalism is the best business card. Moving forward, we will keep traveling the global market and win the trust of more clients through face-to-face conversations.
