The Chipsen T270 is a high-power toroidal transformer built on a continuously wound grain-oriented silicon steel core. Featuring dual primary (0-115V AC) and dual secondary (0-28V AC) windings, this versatile unit can be configured for 115V or 230V mains input and can supply either a single higher-current rail or two independent isolated rails. The toroidal structure offers a lower profile, lighter weight, significantly reduced stray magnetic field, and virtually no mechanical hum compared to conventional EI laminated transformers.
